Jeanette "Jan" Van Houten

of Chelsea, Michigan, formerly of Carleton, Michigan, Age 91, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at her home in the Chelsea Retirement Community (UMRC).

George R. Thompson, MD

of Ann Arbor, MI passed away peacefully on Sunday November 12, 2023 at the age of 93 years and is now in the loving presence of Almighty God and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dr. Thompson is survived by his wife of 66 years Ruth Marie Thompson of Highland Mills, NY, their three children: David Thompson, MD of Grand Rapids, MI, Nancy Roberts (Mark) of Dexter, MI, and Susan Johnson (Peter) of Whitmore Lake, MI; niece and nephews Melanie (Mark) Wagner of Manassas, VA, Walter Stanfield, Jr and Stephen Stanfield both of Highland Mills, NY; grandchildren Daniel Roberts (Alison), Amy Rowe (Tanner), Margaret Sarah Thompson, and Stephanie Scheets (Jonathan), and great-grandchildren Maverick, Calvin, and Beckett Rowe. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Joseph John Thompson, mother, Gertrude Flowerday Thompson, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Walter and Janice Stanfield, his pre-school aged daughter Ann, and daughter-in-law Margaret Elizabeth (Peggy) Thompson, MD.

Beatrice Mae "Beatie" (Ritenour) Eutsey

age 82, of Connellsville (Springfield Township) completed her earthly race on November 10, 2023. She crossed her finish line into Heaven and was embraced by the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ, while a host of loved ones - both here and there celebrated her victory. She was born June 1st, 1941, in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. She loved the Lord and was a Godly example of a woman who had a heart to give and help those around her. She was always willing to offer a smile, hello or a wave to anyone she met – she never met a stranger. There is not a thank you sufficient for the prayers she prayed and kindness she showed to those she loved. Those who remain are thankful that God gave us a mother, sister and aunt who was an example of what it meant to be a Jesus follower.

Kristie E. Thomas

Age 65, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, at her home. She was born October 24, 1958, in Cheboygan, Michigan, the daughter of Henry and Barbara (Dennis) Ramsby.

Kristie graduated from Cheboygan High School in 1976. She worked as a respiratory therapist until her daughter was born. Kristie took care of her daughter who had disabilities for 30 years. She supported the Detroit Lions and Red Wings. Kristie enjoyed cooking, watching cooking shows, and reading Agatha Christie. She loved animals, video games, and T.V. game shows. Kristie was a passionate and cantankerous woman who stood up for what she believed in.
