Grief support for children, teens, and their families. Each week, peer-to-peer bereavement support groups help hundreds learn to cope and begin to heal after the death of a parent, sibling, or someone close to them.
Arbor Hospice understands the significance of losing a loved one and the impact it can have on an individual.
Arbor Hospice's Grief Support Services staff consists of Masters-level clinicians who are specially trained to work with grief-related issues. Arbor Hospice offers a variety of support groups and programs throughout the year. Six and eight-week support groups that meet regularly include:
- Adult Loss of a Parent
- Loss of Spouse or Partner
- Moving Through Grief: General Loss
Other groups, such as Loss of a Child or Men's Loss are offered periodically throughout the year as well. You do not have to be in Arbor Hospice to participate in their groups.
