Marilyn Green Doherty
 age 87, died peacefully Monday, October 2nd, 2023, surrounded by family at her home in Chelsea, Michigan. Marilyn was born October 28, 1935 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, graduated from Swarthmore High School, and then attended Duke University where she earned a B.A. degree and lettered in field hockey, lacrosse, and basketball.

After graduating from Duke, Marilyn married Robert W. Doherty, also of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. They lived in Princeton, New Jersey, Amherst, Massachusetts and Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania where they raised two children.

of Chelsea, Michigan, formerly of Brookfield, WI Age 99, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the Chelsea Retirement Community. She was born March 2, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Warren and Alma Mae (Lupher) Huntsinger. Raised on a farm in the Belleville area, she was one of the original “Rosie the Riveters” before enlisting in the Navy during WWII. There she met Stephen Toth to whom she was married until his death October 29, 1985. Together, they raised 7 children, the first four all born in different states as Steve was transferred from base to base in the Army.
