Dove Margenau
of Grass Lake, MI, formerly of Ann Arbor, age 90, died Sunday, July 3, 2022, in Jackson, Michigan. She was born March 9, 1932, in Jackson, Kentucky, the daughter of Arthur & Maud (Noble) Haddix and grew up in Lost Creek, Kentucky. Dove was a Realtor in Ann Arbor for many years before becoming the Director of Marketing & Sales at the Bell Tower Hotel and Campus Inn. She also worked for Washtenaw County in the Purchasing Department. Her greatest achievement was being a wife and mother to her loving family. Together the family traveled all over the United States, Canada and Europe. She was a huge fan of Michigan football; friend to coaches and players alike.David Gill Logan, MD

Dr. David Gill Logan passed away peacefully Thursday, July 7, 2022, at his home on North Lake. He was born February 15,1935 in Ann Arbor, the son of Albert James and Frances Treat (Gill) Logan.
David graduated from University High School in Ann Arbor, MI in 1953. He then attended Oberlin College in Ohio, graduating Phi Beta Kappa in 1957. From 1957 to 1961, he attended Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) Medical School graduating Alpha Omega Alpha in 1961. David served in the Army Medical Corps in Tokyo, Japan from 1963-1966, where he received the US Armed Forces Commendation Medal. On return to the US, he moved his young family to Cleveland, where he entered a residency in psychiatry at CWRU later joining the faculty as an assistant professor of psychiatry.
LeRoy W. Darwin
age 87, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Helen Darwin, and 2 brothers, William and Arnold. He is survived by his wife, Susan McPherson Darwin; three daughters, Victoria Darwin Rushton, Anna Hamill, Sarah Inderhees; son James Inderhees; and 3 grandsons, Richard Rushton, Ryder Rushton, and Garrett Hamill; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ann Carol Green
Age 86, died Thursday, July 14, 2022 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was born November 27, 1935 in Ann Arbor, MI, the daughter of Malry A. "Mac" & Ethel M. (Shenefield) McClister.
Ann graduated from Ann Arbor High School in 1953. She worked as a cashier for A & P, which later became Farmer Jack. Ann worked there from high school until retirement. She attended and played at the Evart Dulcimer Festival. Ann was very musical, playing dulcimer, guitar, mandolin, in addition to singing and yodeling. She traveled a lot with the Pittsfield Seniors, and in her younger years she traveled in her motorhome and enjoyed snowmobiling. Ann loved animals, especially her dogs and cats, and a horse when she was young. She also cared for her mother for many years.
Velma Jean Jeffery
Of Dexter, Michigan
Velma Jean Jeffery, best known as “Jean” or “Jeanne” passed away on July 11, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. Jean was the middle daughter of Ernest and Gladys Seyfried, born on December 12, 1934 at their home on Glenwood Street in Ann Arbor.
Jean attended Ann Arbor (Pioneer) High School graduating in 1953 with an emphasis in stenography. She put her skills to use first as a sales associate at Kline’s department store, the police department and Phillips Manufacturing. After the birth of her daughter Stephanie, she chose to stay home to raise her and kept herself busy as co-leader in Brownies and Girl Scouts and volunteering at Sunday School at the Dexter United Methodist Church. Jean went back to work at Wylie Middle School in Dexter as a substitute secretary and then landed a full-time position as school secretary and then secretary to the Principal.
