Evelyn Elizabeth Faucett

   Evelyn Elizabeth Faucett was born on February 28, 1917 in Moradabad, in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Her parents, Robert Isaac Faucett and Myrtle Bare Faucett, were Methodist missionaries in India for many decades as were her grandparents, Charles Lysander Bare and Susan Winchell Bare.

Joyce A. (Grob) Lovely

of Dexter, Michigan, age 70, went home to be with her family and Lord on Monday, August 22, 2016 at her home in Dexter. She was born December 7, 1945 in Jackson, Michigan , the daughter of Roy & Bertie (Fitzpatrick) Whitaker.   Joyce enjoyed working in her flower gardens, reading, going to the casino, playing bingo, and her wonderful rescued cats. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, the Grob and Lovely families, friends and her cats.  

Dorothy June Fugate

of Chelsea, MI, age 83, died Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Chelsea Retirement Community. She was born November 19, 1932 in Beal City, Michigan, the daughter of Frank & Dorothy (Swarthout) Kornexl.   Dorothy was a 1951 graduate of Ann Arbor High School and earned an Associates Degree from Eastern Michigan College in 1959.  She has lived in Chelsea since 1987.  She started working for Michigan Bell Telephone Co. (AT&T) at 17 years old, and worked there for 32 years, retiring in 1987.  She was a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and the  American Legion Auxiliary in Dexter.

Donna Lorraine Reincke

Age 90, of Chelsea, Michigan, formerly of Traverse City, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016.  Donna was born on December 2, 1925, in Traverse City, Michigan, to Hollis L. and Bertha Marie (Bisel) Hubbell.  Upon graduating from Traverse City Central High School, where she had been an excellent student, sung in the choir, and performed in school plays, she pursued her goal to become a nurse.  Her nursing career started at Wayne State University; however, it ended suddenly due to a serious illness. An even greater dream was fulfilled in January 1947 when she married her high school sweetheart, Wesley Reincke of Suttons Bay. They spent the next 67 years together making a home, raising a family, moving to Lansing, and returning to Traverse City (where they lived in the same house for 55 years), traveling, building a cottage, and working towards an early retirement. In retirement, they enjoyed life at their summer home on Lake Leelanau and spending winters in Florida and Alabama.

Dorothy M. Fisher

of Chelsea, Michigan, age 92, died Friday, August 12, 2016 in Chelsea, Michigan. She was born April 8, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Edward J. & Nora M. (Steffen) Dyar. Dorothy retired in 1985 from working in the engineering department at the University of Michigan. She also worked as an office manager for Ernst Electric in Ann Arbor. Dorothy has been a resident of Silver Maples for the last 5 years, and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chelsea. She previously attended St. Paul Student Chapel in Big Rapids. Dorothy enjoyed golf, bowling, slot machines, and watching the stock market.  She was proud of and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
