Sharon Edna Davis
Age 74, died Thursday, July 27, 2023, at home. She was born January 2, 1949, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the daughter of Prentiss C & Hilda May (Weber) Davis.
Sharon graduated from Chelsea High School in 1967. Shortly after, she attended Foote Hospital’s three year RN nursing program before transferring to the University of Michigan where she obtained a bachelors degree in nursing and her masters degree is psychiatric nursing. Sharon briefly worked at Mercy Wood, but spent the majority of her nursing career at the Ann Arbor, Michigan VA Medical Center. In 1996 she attended the Summer Olympics in Atlanta, GA with her brother William which was an experience neither of them would forget. Sharon briefly attended the Chelsea Assembly of God.
Micheal T. Lucas, Age 71, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 13, 2023, at his home. He was born February 20, 1952, in Saint Simons, Georgia, the son of Albert Lawrence Lucas and Nora Irene (Larock) Lucas.
of Chelsea, Michigan, a former long-term resident of Sharon Township, age 67, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Henry Ford Hospice in Jackson. She was born July 31, 1955, in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Norman E. and Paula (Hefele) Curtis.
Candace Platt, 76, of Chelsea, passed away on July 6th, 2023, at home after a long illness. She is a beloved mother, wife and sister. Candace was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, marrying her husband Barry on March 17th, 1974. She lived an adventurous life and was an avid reader and enjoyed theatre. She is predeceased by her parents Thomas B. Cresswell Sr. and Barbara Worth Cresswell Sr. and her brother Jonathan, and is survived by her husband Barry, her sisters Barbara, Deborah, and Wendy and her brother Thomas, as well as her daughter Tara, her son-in-law Yuri, and her grandson Sagan. She will be deeply missed by her family.
Frank “Andy” Compau Jr. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on July 18, 2023. He was born May 18, 1954 in Wyandotte, Michigan, the first child of Joan and Frank Compau.
