Marlene M. Keezer
of Chelsea, went home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2015. She was born October 8, 1931 in Chelsea, Michigan, the daughter of John C. & Esther E. (Page) Schneider. Marlene graduated from Chelsea High School in 1950 and Hamilton Business College in 1952. She was a member of Mt. Hope Bible Church. Marlene loved being outdoors and enjoyed God’s beautiful creation. On November 25, 1967, she married Walter “Joe” Keezer, and he preceded her in death on March 9, 1998.

of Chelsea, age 94, died Friday, June 19, 2015 at Chelsea Retirement Community. He was born November 13, 1920 in Pikeville, TN, the son of James Rankin & Gertrude May (Rutledge) Cordell. He attended school in Chattanooga and served in the US Army in World War II. On July 8, 1945, he married Harriet Peterson in Greenville, SC. In 1948, they moved to Belleville, MI , where he was employed by the United States Postal Service in Ypsilanti, MI. He retired in 1978 as Manager of Customer Service.

Florence attended Christian College in Columbia, MO and Eden Seminary in Webster Groves, MO. She worked at churches in Monroe, WI and Ann Arbor, MI (Bethlehem Church). She served with her husband, Alton, in Prescott, AZ, Andover IA, Tripoli, IA, and Burlington IA, before retiring in Chelsea.
