Marlene M. Keezer

of Chelsea, went home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2015. She was born October 8, 1931 in Chelsea, Michigan, the daughter of John C. & Esther E. (Page) Schneider.  Marlene graduated from Chelsea High School in 1950 and Hamilton Business College in 1952.  She was a member of Mt. Hope Bible Church.  Marlene loved being outdoors and enjoyed God’s beautiful creation.  On November 25, 1967, she married Walter “Joe” Keezer, and he preceded her in death on March 9, 1998.

Carl Leonard Cordell

of Chelsea, age 94, died Friday, June 19, 2015 at Chelsea Retirement Community. He was born November 13, 1920 in Pikeville, TN, the son of James Rankin & Gertrude May (Rutledge) Cordell.  He attended school in Chattanooga and served in the US Army in World War II.  On July 8, 1945, he married Harriet Peterson in Greenville, SC.  In 1948, they moved to Belleville, MI , where he was employed by the United States Postal Service in Ypsilanti, MI.    He retired in 1978 as Manager of Customer Service. 

Florence S. Koengeter

of Chelsea, MI, age 97, died Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Chelsea Retirement Community. She was born June 16, 1917 in Ft. Madison, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph & Bertha (Bragonier) Voigt. Florence attended Christian College in Columbia, MO and Eden Seminary in Webster Groves, MO.  She worked at churches in Monroe, WI and Ann Arbor, MI (Bethlehem Church).  She served with her husband, Alton, in Prescott, AZ,  Andover IA, Tripoli, IA, and Burlington IA, before retiring in Chelsea.

Walter J. Rogacki

of Jackson, MI, age 87, died peacefully Monday, June 15, 2015 at Bethany Care Home in Jackson, Michigan. He was born June 20, 1927 in Buffalo, New York, the son of Valentin & Wladjslawa Rogacki.  Walter was a member of the Catholic Church. He served in the South Pacific in the United States Navy during WWII.  He also served in the Korean Conflict. Walter was a former member of the DePew VFW Post.  He was a laborer in the steel industry.  Walter's biggest hobby was art, he continued to sketch and paint throughout his whole life.  

Marilyn A. Hinckley

Of Ann Arbor, MI, age 85, died peacefully on  May 31, 2015 at Towsley Village in Chelsea MI. She was born Febuary 11, 1930 to Arthur H. and Mabel (Davis) Becht in Detroit, MI and married Marinus Hinckley Jr. on July 22, 1950 in Saline, MI.  Marilyn was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.  She dedicated her life to her family.
