I extend my sincere sympathy to Larry's family. Larry and I lived next door to each other in UZ, Kentucky when he and Roger lived with their grandparents, Big Bill and Aunt Ethyl. Larry and I would meet Wendell Caudill at the bus stop and go to Whitesburg High together. We boys always had to wet out hair down in the morning and comb it for school. Usually , in the winter our hair would be frozen by the time we got on the bus. We should have caught pneumonia ! Larry and I wanted a basketball goal put u p but Big Bill and Aunt Ethyl would not let us put it anywhere near their house that was flat. They said, flat land was for a garden not for playing! So we went up the hollow and dug for weeks and finally made us a flat spot and put up a basketball goal. We had a lot of fun their together. I don't have Roger Dale's contact information. But if he should read this , I would love to connect. My email is:

Sincerely, Charles, a UZ cousin
