Aunt Carolyn has been part of my memories since I’ve had memories. Her and Bill and Lynette lived across the street from us. Something that I never understood was that my mom and Aunt Carolyn would get in the phone talking to each other for hours. Now you need to remember this is when phones were on the wall and you couldn’t talk on the phone and do anything else but take notes while holding the phone with your neck and shoulder. All they had to do was walk across the street but I never saw it.

Aunt Carolyn was always kind and gentle. The only time I heard her yell was when my brother Derek would run away from her when she would be watching us. She would yell “your mother m and dad is going to know what you’ve done. You better get back here!” I don’t remember if she ever did tell them though.

She will be greatly missed.
