Age 86, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Divine Life Assisted Living in Haslett, MI. He was born August 12, 1938 in Salyersville, KY, the son of Carl & Mary (Montgomery) Craft.
Frealin attended school in Salyersville, Kentucky. He owned and ran Craft Appliance in Chelsea for 50 years, and was a Deputy Sheriff for Washtenaw County for 33 years. He was a member of the Ann Arbor Kiwanis Club, and also a Mason in the Ann Arbor Lodge.
Survivors include three sons, Frealin (Lisa) Craft II of St. Johns, Randy Craft of Ann Arbor, Jeffery (Tracy) Craft of Ypsilanti; one daughter, Tresa (John) Jex of Madison Heights; two sisters, Letha Atkinson, Josephine (Harold) Murphy; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Mary Ellen Craft.
The family received friends at Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea Monday, Dec. 30 from 11am - 1 pm. Burial will follow at Rowes Corner Cemetery in Manchester. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
