Oh coach …. When we ( I ) heard of your passing it absolutely hurt my heart the hurt is a big one, too many memories to write down here, my gosh you coached me privately and at school for decades, you became part of our family, all the dinners, lunches, get togethers, let’s go to Ann Arbor and get your racket restrung, let’s go to Ann Arbor get some new warm up clothes, go to the school put the nets at regulation height, don’t forget to turn the lights off after practice, be early, be extra early !! The phone calls you better be watching the open don’t ask which one you should know watch it learn from it … re watch it ..all lessons, matches, finals, you taught me and my teammates so much yes about the game but also how to handle life and to never give up. Last night while looking up at the stars and talking to you I saw one brighter and I know the minute you went to heaven you were so happy to see your Mom and everyone you have been missing down here.
