of Chelsea, Michigan, age 70, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, at her home. She was born September 10, 1952, in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Louis George and Dorothea Elaine (Nations) Marshall.

Debbie graduated from Pinckney High School in 1971. Between 1977-2001, she worked at UMI//ProQuest. Debbie decided to be a stay home Grandma in 2003. It was her joy to watch her grandchildren grow up. Debbie volunteered for the Ann Arbor Lions Club for 20 years, and the Pinckney Senior Center, where she also made cards. She loved making cards and scrapbooking with her sister-in-law, Becky. She enjoyed watching the birds that came to her feeders, watching all the flowers bloom, and making cakes. Debbie will be remembered for her smile, her infectious laugh, and kind spirit.

On October 18, 1992, Debbie married Harold Louis Link, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Debbie is survived by her two daughters, Brandy Johnson of Dexter, Robin Leach of Ypsilanti; and her grandchildren, Garrett and Avery Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Marshall; and sister, Lou Ann Marshall.

I met Deb many years ago as a neighbor, but recently got to know her better. Her loving care for her mother made her stand out. She had courage in the face of illness, but kept her joy and sense of fun. I will miss her. God bless and comfort you, Harold.
