of Ann Arbor, Michigan, formerly of Chelsea, age 65, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Chelsea Hospital. She was born December 9, 1957, in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Osbie Hubert and Thelma (Bryan) Armstrong.
Betty attended Chelsea High School, class of 1975. She worked in the manufacturing field for many years, and spent her last few years enjoying life after her medical retirement. Betty loved sewing and glasswork (creating glass art) and clay. She enjoyed staying close to home and loved to cook for her family.
Betty is survived by two brothers, Ron (Melissa) Cubberly, and Mike (Maryann) Cubberly; two sisters, Glennis Miller, and Joyce Barringer; two sisters-in-law, Lori Cubberly, and Doris Cubberly; and was the amazing “Aunt Betty” to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry Armstrong, George Cubberly, and Don Cubberly; and sister, Valerie Davis.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. Burial will be at Vermont Cemetery in Chelsea. Arrangements were entrusted to Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea.
