of Pleasant Lake, MI, formerly of Ida, age 66, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home in Jackson with her family at her side. She was born January 7, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Robert & Vada (Manor) Jasmund.

Deborah graduated from Ida High School in 1970. She worked for Lohr Tax Service, and upon his retirement, Deborah then started Hill’s Tax Service, which specialized in farm taxes. She enjoyed helping the farmers of Ida. In addition to the tax service, she operated Creative Page Designs custom printing. Deborah was a member of NATP (National Association of Tax Practitioners) and was a member of Main Street Church of Chelsea. She was choreographer for the Ida Marching Band color guard for many years. Deborah was most proud to be a wife, mother and grandma.

On May 29, 1971, she married William Hill in Ida and he survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Jennifer (Joel) Underwood of Chelsea; a brother, Russell “Jim” (Donyce) Jasmund of Temperance; a sister-in-law, Valeri Jasmund of FL; 4 grandchildren, Kali Hill, Emilee Underwood, Zachary Underwood, and Cody Underwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Randall “Randy” and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Margaret & George Hill. The family would like to thank the staff of Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home.
 
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-9 pm at Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea.   Funeral services will be held Friday, October 5, 2018, 10:30 a.m. at Cole Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Josh Kuck officiating.  Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Jackson. Following the services, there will be a luncheon at Main Street Church in Chelsea.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association,  P.O. Our deepest condolences. Debbie's never-ending care of MOM over many years is not forgotten and so like her giving nature.
