of Chelsea, Michigan, age 79, died Monday, February 21, 2022 at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers, Florida. He was born August 13, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Anthony Peter and Veronica (Zablothy) Kujawa.
 
  David attended the University of Detroit High School graduating in 1960.  He graduated from the University of Detroit College, and earned his MBA from Wayne State University.  David worked as an automotive engineer for Ford Motor Company for 39 years.  He was also a member of the Air National Guard, earning the rank of Lieutenant.  David enjoyed reading, fishing, and playing Bridge, and was terrific with children. He loved spending winters in Estero FL at Cypress Bend RV Resort. 
  David married Esther Anne Gustafson in 1965, and she survives. Other survivors include three children, Faith Moore of Ypsilanti, Lynn Marie Cox of Garden City, Michael (Lynnmarie) Kujawa of Westland; and two grandchildren, Jonathan & Samantha Cox.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Dianna.

David, although we were not close cousins you were always in my prayers as all of my family members are.
