of Grass Lake, age 52, died Monday, January 9, 2012 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She was born June 29, 1959 in Southfield, Michigan, the daughter of Herbert Edwin & Isabelle Smith (Barnes) Madion. 

Kimberly was a second generation printer at Litho II Printing, and worked as a real estate agent for the last six years with Coldwell Banker in Ann Arbor.  She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and being in the sun.  Kimberly loved caring for other people, cooking, and her pet cats.  She was a volunteer for hospice.

She married Theodore Eugene Durandetto in Traverse City and they have been together almost 25 years. She is also survived by two step-daughters, Tracy Durandetto, Renee (Brett) Harris; two step-sons, Ted (Renee) Durandetto Jr., Tony (Krystal) Durandetto; two sisters, Heather (Donald) Shurmur, Wendy “Boo” (Donald) Miller; 3 step-grandchildren; a nephew, Jason (Liz) Shurmur; a niece, Tiffany Shurmur; and a great-nephew, Liam.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 14, 3:00 p.m. at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, with Rev. Beth Foster officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Saturday. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Huron Valley Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
