Especially to Yvonne and Virginia but to the rest of the family also. She had to be a great sister because she was a great friend. Our families pretty much grew up together and she was always kind to me. Sorry for your loss but know she is in no more pain. Love to you all.

I've known Shirley all my life. I remember her singing in the church with her sister June and my Mother Mary Walz now Graham. She always reminded me of how she rocked me while my mother tended my brother Jim when we both contracted polio. Polio. She was a dear woman with a sweet heart who lived her religious beliefs. Taking many into her home and always lending a helping hand with the church. Too few who live their life as they know God wants us too. She certainly did. Will miss her greatly.

To all my family in Michigan. Im sorry to hear about aunt Shirley, my mother told me just yesterday(susan ). My prayers are with you all. Aunt Shirley, you will be missed by many. My greatest childhood memories are at you and uncle Cas' house over summer vacation spent with Nathan playing at your house and enjoying your amazing cooking. I love you aunt Shirley.

My heart goes out to the whole family, She will be missed very much. She loved her family very much. She had an awesome sense of humor. A funny memory; Shirley and Nancy were in the front of the car and the 3 of us were heading out to dinner somewhere and Shirley got on the subject of Hearing Aids, Well, Shirley said "those things (hearing aids) are such a huge pain in my rear!", And so I piped up and said "I think you are putting it in the wrong place." And Shirley just busted out laughing! Also, I will always cherish our trip to Alaska on the cruise, it was an AWESOME trip for all of us, and it was great that Shirley joined us on the trip, we all had an awesome trip.
