of Manchester, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 21, 2018. He was born September 1, 1927 in Dexter, Michigan, the son of Otto & Leona (Sautter) Eisemann.

  Don served in the Army at the end of WWII. He worked with his dad and his brother for Eisemann Oil, and later went to Chrysler Proving Grounds. Don’s real love was farming. He owned the family farm from 1962 until the end of his life. He was very good at tinkering, and fixing engines and farm machinery. Don was a member of Dexter Gospel Church.


   On July 28, 1951, he married Beverly Ann Weatherwax in Chelsea, and she preceded him in death on January 27, 2012. Survivors include three daughters, Terri (Thomas) Eder of Chelsea, Jan (Scott) Tanner of Grass Lake, Karin (Tony) Rettig of Dexter; seven grandchildren, Michael (Constance) Eder, Mark Eder, Jason (Bekah) Lantis, Brian (Lauren) Lantis, Paul Weir, Jessica (Adam) Nicholl, Lindsay Rettig; eight great-grandchildren, David, Jack, & Nicholas Eder, Trevor Lantis, Asher & Samantha Lantis, Amelia, Lydia, & James Nicholl; three siblings, Willard (Bonnie) of Deering, ND, Leon of Saline, and Nancy White of Stockbridge; and several nieces and nephews.

   A private funeral was held at Cole Funeral Chapel.  Burial was at Oak Grove East Cemetery in Chelsea.   Memorial contributions may be made to Dexter Gospel Church,2253 Baker Rd, Dexter, MI 48130.
