Jackson, Michigan, age 80, died Monday, July 22, 2013 at V. A. Healthcare System Ann Arbor. He was born December 6, 1932 in Bellmore Long Island, NY, the son of Albert & Agnes Humphreys.
Albert was a level 12 engineer for the United States Government located in Warren, MI. He was also a member of St Stanislaus Kostka Chapel in Jackson MI. Albert enjoyed golfing and fishing.
He married Ruth Mildred, and she preceded him in death on June 26, 2004. Survivors include a daughter, Eileen (Jerry Huling) Humphreys; 2 grandchildren, Ashley and Austin Mason; a brother Johnny Humphreys; and several nieces and nephews; also Albert's longtime significant other Marion Schiele, and her son Larry Schiele.
The family held a private service and cremation has taken place. Burial will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Battle Creek, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association, 27001 Agoura Rd Suite 250, Calabasas Hills, CA 91301. Arrangements by Cole Funeral Chapel.
