of Chelsea, MI. age 59, died Thursday, June 6, 2013 at her home. She was born August 21, 1953 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of Jack L. and Eileen J. (Crowley) Housewright.
Jackie graduated from Stockbridge High School, and earned a nursing degree from Jackson Community College. She worked for 18 years at U of M, and was on the original heart transplant team there. She volunteered at Faith in Action. Jackie had a big heart, and loved her grandchildren and dogs.
She is survived by two sons, David &Rachel Kunzelman of Leetonia, OH, Anthony Kunzelman of Monroe; four grandchildren, Matthew, Hailey, Grant, & Emily; and her brother Russell D. Housewright of Chelsea. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Steven Housewright.
A memorial service was Wednesday, June 12, 2:00 pm at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, with Deacon Tom Franklin officiating. The family received friends Wednesday noon - 2 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
