Age 95, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at his home. He was born March 26, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Arthur H. and Jennie B. (Osborne) Fehr.
Arthur was a hard working dairy farmer for over thirty years. He loved his animals and was honored as Farmer of the Week from WPAG, Ann Arbor. He was a member of the Washtenaw County Farm Bureau and the Sharon United Methodist Church.
He married Gertrude A. Huesman on October 11, 1941 and she survives. They celebrated 71 years together. Also surviving is a daughter, Joan (Will Wright) Schindler; and a grandson, Patrick Schindler, all of Ann Arbor. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Harold.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 15, 11:00 am at Sharon United Methodist Church, with Pastor Peter Harris officiating. A private burial was held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Manchester. The family received friends at Cole Funeral Chapel Sunday 2-4 pm and at the church Monday 10-11 am.
