2018 Community Halloween Event

The Kiwanis Club of Chelsea and Cole Funeral Chapel will once again host Chelsea's Halloween Costume judging contest.  We will be at the Cole Funeral Chapel parking lot on Wednesday, October 31, starting at 5:30 pm!  Cider and donuts will be provided.

PLEASE NOTE THE JUDGING TIME IS AT 5:30 to allow judging before trick-or-treating and games (so the costumes will be fresh) and while it is still light out (so we can all see the costumes and get great pictures).  Judging will take place from 5:30-5:40, so don't be late!  We hope to announce winners and take photos starting at 5:50 pm.

For the COSTUME JUDGING, categories will be 5 years & under, 6-8, 9-12, 13-18, and groups.  In each category, First and Second place will be chosen for Best Costume and Most Original.  All contestants will receive a participant ribbon.

After the winners have been announced, and pictures taken, we encourage you to enjoy Halloween in our town by trick-or-treating, and attend the Community Block Party (5:30-7:30 at the Washington Street Education Center).
