I think we met in kindergarten. We've been in touch on and off over the 55 years since, and he was a steady friend. He told things straight but had a sense of humor and never seemed to waste his energy in self-pity. I wish he had had more time, and I'll miss our calls and texts. Sincere condolences to John, Dorothy and Michelle.

Will was a dear friend. He reached out to me after I fell rupturing my left patella tendon in my knee. I spent two and a half months in a nursing home. Will texted and called me frequently to check on me. It was a very dark time in my life. Will didn't give up on me. He encouraged me by discussing what changes I would need to make in order to function as normally as possible when I went home. He was instrumental in helping me decide to buy a van over an SUV. Will meant a lot to me. I will cherish his memory ♥️

I had the honor and privilege to be by Will's side when he took his last breath. I miss him so much. Will was more like a brother to me than a cousin. From our school aged years to his final breath, he was my guardian. Fly high my buddy, you are free and with your family, right where you belong. I look forward to seeing you again. "Well Done!"

Love you, Michelle
