of Saline, Michigan, formerly of Chelsea, age 79, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Linden Square in Saline. She was born March 2, 1938 in Garrett, Kentucky, the daughter of Granville and Nannie (Hicks) Stanley. Peggy was a homemaker and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and flowers.In 1973, she married Harold Salyer and he preceded her in death on September 23, 2008. Survivors include her children, Pamela (Robert) Ray, David (Sarah) Stephens, Donald Salyer, Judy (John) Hufziger, Vickie (Robert Jr.) Rudd, Connie (Stan) Hall; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Stephens, a grandson, Lance Zeller, and several siblings.
A private burial will take place at Oak Grove East Cemetery in Chelsea. Memorial contributions may be made to Huron Valley Humane Society or American Cancer Society. Arrangements were entrusted to Cole Funeral Chapel.
