Obituaries

Patrice Marie “Pat” Rubadeau (74) of Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Ohio, the beloved daughter of Lillian and Joseph. She is survived by her husband, John; her children, Heather, Alexis, Becky, Nick, and Pace; and her grandchildren, as well as her sister Linda, brother Larry and their families. Her family was the most important thing in her life.

Throughout her life, she was many things: a small business owner, a student, a professor, a quilter, a friend. She was a driving force in the fight against LAM, the degenerative lung disease that she had. The doctors didn’t think she would live 10 years after her diagnosis, but she fought for another 35 years.

No public services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to The LAM Foundation, https://www.thelamfoundation.org/donate/ways-to-give. Arrangements were entrusted to Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea.
