Age 65, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, at her home. She was born October 24, 1958, in Cheboygan, Michigan, the daughter of Henry and Barbara (Dennis) Ramsby.
Kristie graduated from Cheboygan High School in 1976. She worked as a respiratory therapist until her daughter was born. Kristie took care of her daughter who had disabilities for 30 years. She supported the Detroit Lions and Red Wings. Kristie enjoyed cooking, watching cooking shows, and reading Agatha Christie. She loved animals, video games, and T.V. game shows. Kristie was a passionate and cantankerous woman who stood up for what she believed in.
On September 23, 2012, Kristie married Charles Justus Feighner, and he survives. She is also survived by her sons, Sam (Heather) Kleber of Chelsea, and Connor (Adrienne White) Thomas of Novi; her daughters, Erica Rae Skiera of Chelsea, and Nicole (Li Nan Lee) Kleber of China; her brothers, Henry S. “Hank” (Lana) Ramsby, Michael (Patricia) Ramsby, and Timothy Ramsby; her grandchildren, Fiona Kleber, Evie Kleber, and Mabel Kleber; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of Kristie’s life will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Huron Valley or to cancer research.
