Of Chelsea, MI, age 75, died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his home. He was born April 2, 1945 in Ann Arbor, MI, the son of John “Jack” W. & Gertrude M. (Weinberg) Weber. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jack B. Weber.
Jeff graduated from Jackson High School in 1963, and then earned a BA degree from MSU. He was a sales representative for Dan Waitz Associates in Dexter. Born and raised in Michigan, Jeff lived in California from 1971 - 1992, before returning to family land outside of Chelsea.
Jeff was a devoted father and a coach of his kids' sports teams. He loved to visit his kids and grandkids in CA and CO. He was fond of natural landscapes and enjoyed traveling to beautiful locations. He was a Civil War buff and landscaping aficionado. Jeff was proudly sober for 38 years and was a dedicated member of the AA fellowship.
Survivors include: a son, Matt (Connie) Weber of San Jose, CA: granddaughters Caitlin and Samantha; a daughter Jennifer (John) Cautrell of Granby, CO: grandson Camden; and nephews Brooks, Steve, and John Weber.
A private celebration of his life will be held at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Yosemite Conservancy, 101 Montgomery Street, Suite 1700, San Francisco, CA 94104. Arrangements were entrusted to Cole Funeral Chapel.
