Nancy (Clark) Herman entered this world on December 17th, 1928 and departed for the next life on October 19th, 2020 two months shy of her 92nd birthday. Nancy was married to Perry "Carl" Herman who preceded her in death. Together they raised daughter Michele Shannon (Tim) and sons Steve (Lysa), Dave and Eric (Helen). A lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Jackson, Nancy was involved in the church music programs and passed her love of music on to her four children. Nancy spent years singing with Tuesday Musicale where she served as a past President. She was also a past president of the Michigan Women's Dental Society.

Another passion of Nancy's was genealogy. She made numerous trips across this nation and abroad in search of her "roots". She was known for her positive spirit and welcoming heart. She was always able to maintain a positive outlook even in dire times. Her philosophy was "bloom where you are planted". She once said, "even in its longest days, life is short". Something for all of us to keep in mind. Nancy is survived by grandchildren Brendan (Jen), Harlowe and Trevor Shannon (Megan), James, Ben and Aarika Herman. Great grandchildren Avery Shannon and Khari Harrison. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Velvah and Lloyd Clark, and sisters Virginia Clark Creglow and Jane Ann Clark Keen. Even in death Nancy decided to help others after she was gone by making a tissue donation.

A celebration of Nancy's life will take place at a later date. Please consider donating to the charity of your choice in remembrance of Nancy and signing up to be a tissue donor. God bless!
