of Ypsilanti, MI, formerly Gregory, MI, and Livonia, MI, Age 92, died Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Arbor Hospice Residence in Saline. She was a rare soul befitting of her birthday, February 29, leap year, 1928. In fact, 2020 was just the 23rd year she actually had a birthday. Born in Detroit, the daughter of Gaetano (Guy) & Carmela (Romano) DiCicco, 1st generation Italian immigrants, she attended Detroit public schools and later, University of Detroit where she achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She was a basketball player, fluent in Italian, Spanish, and English. She started a career in Public Relations before retiring to raise an ever-growing family. 
 
Loving wife of  William J. Hahn for 68 years, until his passing a short time ago on April 18, 2020. Sister of Marie (Frankie) Nido. Survived by her children, Paul (Jennie) Hahn of Ann Arbor, Mary (Marshall) Bice of Naperville, IL, Thomas (Sandra) Hahn of Ann Arbor, John (Rain) Hahn of AZ; her grandchildren, Brian (Sarah) Kuzma, Laura Kuzma, Angelina Bice, Spenser Bice, Jonathan (Amanda) Hahn, Christopher Hahn, Alexandra (Jacob) Kearly, Brianna Labelle-Hahn and Allana LaBelle-Hahn; great-grandchildren, Brendan Kuzma, Miles Kuzma, Annie Lynn Alexandra Hahn, Thia Whitler, and Emma Cash. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Bantom (Louis); and son William Jr.
 
She was a proud member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dexter. In later years, she returned to work at UofD, and spent hundreds of volunteer hours committed to Faith in Action of Chelsea, Friends of the Chelsea Library, numerous women's rights groups, and writers' groups.
 
A private burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Dexter, on Saturday, August 29 -- a brief recognition of an extraordinary life of a giving, loving wife, mother and grandmother. A more deserving celebration service will be held for both Bill and Elvira once it is safer for public gatherings.  Memorial contributions may be made to Faith in Action, 603 S.
