Mr. & Mrs.Hahn were like second parents to me. I was often at their Livonia home because their daughter, Kathy, was my best friend. Even though they had six kids, they often included me on trips to Silver Lake or free concerts at U of M and elsewhere. Mrs. Hahn was a great cook. Mr. Hahn always had a project like raising racing pigeons. What wonderful people! I was blessed to know them.

We are sorry for your loss. We knew Bill and Elvira through St. Joe’s. We enjoyed our weekly chats before mass. Christmas Eve mass and Bill singing Silent Night in German was always a treat. Talks about education, libraries and their family always brought them smiles.
They’re enjoying themselves in Heaven together.

I once heard someone say, when we die, people who love us will miss us. I miss her more than anyone will ever know.

Both Bill and Elvira were amazing people who were very giving. We really enjoyed our times together at Silver Lake and meeting them for dinner.
