I'm so saddened to know that Lauri has passed. She was such a crazy, fun, caring friend to me. I have so many fond memories of our times together. Shopping was one of our favorite things to do. One time we found out about a sale going on during a major snow storm. We didn't want to miss the great deals so we decided to go. The trip was a success but totally unsafe! When we finally made it home, we laughed so hard and vowed we'd never try that again! She was such a special friend to me especially during a very hard time in my life. She would come over and drag me out of bed and make me eat. She always made sure everyone was taken care of and that all special occasions were perfect. When she moved from Canton to Chelsea I was devastated but happy for her since Chelsea is such a special community to be a part of. We both got busy with our kids and grand-kids so getting together was hard to plan. She will be missed by all who knew her. I love you Lauri. Till we meet again.....

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of such a wonderful person. Having grown up with Scott in the neighborhood and spending everyday together as kids, Lauri was a second Mom to me. Lauri was without a doubt the kindest, warmest, and most considerate person I've met in my life. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Wally, Scott, Heather, Tracy, and Beth, please accept my sincere condolences.

Special trips to buy smurf stickers, homemade cloths for our baby dolls, homemade cinnamon apple sauce, endless times watching us play in the pool and sleepovers...so may beautiful memories growing up with your mom. She will forever be remembered for her selfless and loving kindness that she gave to all that knew her. She will be missed. Sending love and prayers. Jodi Nicholson
