Age 84, died Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. She was born September 21, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of John H. & Sybil F. (Bird) Wilson. Mrs. Leach had worked for the Chelsea Public Schools for 10 years, and the Chelsea Community Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of the Chelsea Suburbanettes.
She married Melvin C. Leach in Toledo, Ohio on August 10, 1957, and he survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Kathy (Daniel) Spaulding of Jackson, Cynthia (Wesley) Mikesell of Fremont, and Susan Leach of Jackson; a son-in-law Adrian Carlino of Carlos Paz in Argentina; one sister, Marsha (Clark) Gould of Toledo, OH; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 niece and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Carlino.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, 11:00 am at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, with Rev. Kathy Schell officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Chelsea. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, and Thursday, 10-11am. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Cancer Center, 775 S. Main Street Chelsea, MI 48118.
