of Manchester, MI, age 80, died Sunday, June 16, 2019 with her husband of 60 years at her side at Country Meadows Care Home in Grass Lake. She was born September 23, 1938 in Garden City, Michigan, the daughter of Elias & Norma (Adams) Dennis. Alice was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chelsea. She was former member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester, where she sang in the choir. Alice was a homemaker and farmer, but worked for Bell Telephone before their marriage and while Mike was in the service. Alice was the owner and manager of the Rossettie Airport for many years.
On May 30, 1959, Alice married August Michael “Mike” Rossettie at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester, and he survives. Other survivors include 3 sons, August “Micky” (Mary) Rossettie Jr. of Ann Arbor, Tom Rossettie of Manchester, Greg Rossettie of Ann Arbor; 2 grandchildren; 1 sister, Lela of Manchester; 2 brothers, Lee of Manchester, Jim of Florida. She was preceded in death by a stillborn daughter, and 2 sisters, Selma and Silvia.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, July 6, 11:00 am, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chelsea. The family will receive friends from 10 am - 11 am prior to the service.
