of Grass Lake, MI, age 79, died Friday, December 9, 2011 at Chelsea Community Hospital.

She was born February 22, 1932 in Dexter, MI, the daughter of William & Grace (Koch) Ledwidge. Cecelia was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Chelsea.  She worked with her husband, Gus, at Hansen Sports Center for many years.  Cecelia was very supportive of her family, attending their races and activities.  She spent most summer weekends on the boat with Gus.

On January 8, 1955, she married Oscar C. "Gus" Hansen in Chelsea and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2008. Survivors include a son, Steve (Sue) Hansen of Grass Lake; 3 grandchildren, Erin, Kim, and Joey; one great-grandchild, Jakob; two sisters, Marie Coy, Veronica (Bill) Paddock; one brother, Jack Ledwidge. She was also preceded in death by a son, Douglas in 1998; a grandson, Michael in 2010; a sister, Elizabeth Kuku; and brothers Joe, Norman and Ed Ledwidge.

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 12, 1:00 pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Chelsea,  with Rev. Dale Grimm officiating.  Burial followed at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Waterloo, Michigan.  The family received friends at Cole Funeral Chapel Sunday 1-5 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, American Heart Association or Our Savior Lutheran Church.
