of Chelsea, Michigan, age 15, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 5, 2019. He was born April 23, 2003 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of James & Tina Marie (Hassett) Harbert.
Chris had been homeschooled, and was a Sophomore at Chelsea High School. He was a member of Eventually (Suicide Prevention Group). Chris loved computers, game programming, and posting to YouTube. He attended the Chelsea Free Methodist Church.
Survivors include his parents; his brother, Jordan Harbert; his half-sister, Nichole Harbert; maternal grandparents, Mike & Cheryl Hassett; two very special uncles, Patrick (Lynda) Hassett, James (Trisha) Hassett; and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 11, 11:00 am at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, with Rev. Jeff Ford and Rev. Charlie Monroe officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove East Cemetery, Chelsea. The family will receive friends Thursday 2-5 & 7-9 pm.
