e 87, died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Chelsea Retirement Community. She was born January 18, 1931 in Arma, Kansas, the daughter of Frank L. & Mary (Dugoni) Wilson.
Lois did volunteer work for many years at Bayshore Windmill Village, Freedom Village, and Beaumont Hospital. She liked to say, “Think of me with a smile or don't think of me at all.”
On October 1, 1949, she married Benjamin J. Chiesa in Detroit, and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2008. Survivors include a son James (Janet) Chiesa of Chelsea; a daughter, Cheryl (Gerald) Brown of Swartz Creek; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at Cole Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Mansion Memorial Gardens in Ellenton, FL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan, 27240 Haggerty Road Suite E-15, Farmington Hills, MI 48331.
