of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Freeland, Ann Arbor, and Chelsea, MI, age 89, passed away on November 13, 2018 in Tucson, AZ. She was born June 23, 1929 in Midland, Michigan. Bonnie married Floyd J. Rinehart, and he passed away on October 1, 1989. Bonnie worked for Dow Chemical, General Motors, and the University of Michigan. She was a licensed childcare giver for many years. In her later years Bonnie helped making quilts for children in need in Tucson, Arizona. She leaves behind a legacy of caring and loving for many children beyond those in her family.
Bonnie leaves behind five children, Parks Rinehart, Brandon Rinehart, Dawn Long, Barbara Wood, and Kollete Golec; one sister, Patricia Griswold; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Bonnie was laid to rest with her husband in Washtenong Memorial Park in Ann Arbor. Donations can be made in her name to The Miller Empey Natural Science Room in Freeland, MI; the Ronald McDonald House, or Audubon.org.. Local arrangements were entrusted to Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea.
