Paula Kaye Ludwig (66) passed away peacefully in the arms of her beloved husband, daughter and son on Wednesday September 26th, 2018 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI after a long, brave, and courageous battle with complications from pneumonia.  She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Bob (Robert), adored children Steven Ludwig and Katherine (Matthew Pelletier), mother Mary (Heamon) and sisters Janice and Marcia. Her loving uncle “Bub” and kitty companion, Tux, preceded her in death.

Paula was born in Jackson, Michigan on July 19th, 1952 and graduated from East Jackson High School in 1970.  She was a soldering technician at Sparton Electronics in Jackson, MI for over 30 years and later on earned her associates degree in Human Services.  Paula will be remembered for her kindness, love, and generosity and her unconditional love and support for her husband, children and soon to be grandchildren. Her proudest moments in life were watching her children succeed and graduate from college. She adored cooking elaborate meals, crocheting blankets, feeding the birds and wildlife, and her beloved best furry cat friend, Tux.

Paula’s wishes were to be buried near her Uncle “Bub” and will be honored with an intimate family only burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Eaton Rapids, MI.  Memorial donations may be made to the Cascades Humane Society in Jackson County - 1515 Carmen Drive Jackson, MI 49202.
