passed away at age 76, Sunday July 8, 2018 at his home. He was born May 29th 1942 in Ann Arbor MI, the son of Vern and Kathryn (Glushyn) Hilts.
Norm served in the US Air force. He retired after 30 years of service from Ford Motor Co. as an engineer. He also did consulting work for Fords, which abled him to travel to Hungary and Korea. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and his biggest love of all was working on cars.
On December 11th, 1965 he married Suzanne E Meyers of Lake Odessa MI. Survivors include a son Shad L (Ester) Hilts of Jackson; a daughter Cristina L Ferree of Traverse City; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Aganon of Kurtistown, Hawaii, and Loretta (Mike) Roskowski of Chelsea. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roger.
