of Chelsea, Michigan, formerly of Moran, MI, age 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his home. He was born July 26, 1923 in  Allenville, Michigan, the son of John & Violet (Ringler) Erskine.  Glenn graduated from St. Ignace High School in 1942. He served in the army from 1943-46. Glenn was an auto mechanic and driver for Chrysler for 20 years.  After his retirement, Glenn & Minnie moved to Moran, MI, and returned to Chelsea in 2013.  Glenn was an avid sportsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

On Oct. 16, 1948, he married Minnie M. Piatt in Toledo, and she preceded him in death on Oct. 4, 2015. Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Deborah) Erskine of Chelsea, Donald (Debb) Erskine of Manchester; a daughter, Bonnee Brown of Colorado Springs, CO; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; his brother, Vern of Moran, MI; his sister, Laraine Wiggins of Newberry, MI; and several nieces and nephews.

No memorial services are planned.  Burial will take place in Brevort Cemetery in Brevort, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.  Arrangements were entrusted to Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea.
