of Chelsea, Michigan, age 78, died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Caretel of Brighton. She was born December 12, 1932 in Rhodes, Michigan.  On May 8, 1954, she married Elmer Vasas Jr., and he survives.  They were married for 57 years, and had known each other for 58 years.

Mary and Elmer  fished, hunted, bowled, gardened, and golfed together.  They were great partners, and did everything together.

Mary is also survived by a sister, Noretta Collins of Houghton Lake; and a sister-in-law, Pauline Fraizer of Davison, MI.  She was preceded in death by 13 siblings.
