died Sunday, July 16, 2017 at her home at the age of 95. She was born May 7, 1922 in Dexter, Michigan, the daughter of Watson and Erma (Thomas) Hart. 

Eunice graduated from Chelsea High School and was named Valedictorian of the class of 1940. Upon graduation from Cleary Business College in 1941, she embarked on a varied career, including working as the secretary to the Director of the YMCA, Ann Arbor, accounting at the University Hospital, Ann Arbor, executive secretary to five doctors at the Chelsea Medical Clinic, to office manager, executive secretary, and assistant Treasurer for Fortune Industries, Chelsea. In 1969, she was named to the roster of “Who’s Who of American Business Women”.

On December 12, 1942, she married Roland A. White in Chelsea and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2008. Survivors include her children, a daughter Sandra McClear of Chelsea, and a son John (Leone) White of Okemos; three grandchildren, Audra (Daniel) Lungo of Chelsea, Andrew (Susan) White of Columbia, Illinois, and Laura White of Chicago, Illinois; three great-grandchildren, Sean Lungo, Cassandra Lungo, and Carson White. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law, Michael McClear, and a brother, Olen Hart Sr.

A private burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Chelsea at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ, Chelsea, or Arbor Hospice, Ann Arbor.
