Age 76 of Chelsea, died Thursday, February 20, 2014 in Chelsea. She was born October 20, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph S. & Louise E. (Ehms) Crain.
Judy was a member of the First Congregational Church of Chelsea. She worked for Vogels & Fosters and State Farm.
On Aug. 26, 1960, she married David Staebler in Ann Arbor, and he survives. Other survivors include two sons, Adon (Laura) of Chelsea, and Jeffrey (Robyn) of Gregory; a brother, Jack Crain (Barbara); six grandchildren, Britt (Wayne), Kali, Elsa, Andrew, Garrett, Mikayla; two great-grandchildren, Oliver and Elsie Kay; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a granddaughter, Gabrielle.
The family received friends at the First Congregational Church of Chelsea on Sunday, March 2, from 2-3:30 pm, with a celebration of Judy’s life at 3:30 pm.
