of Whitmore Lake, MI, age 85, died Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Residence of Arbor Hospice.  He was born May 14, 1927 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Paul W. & Gwendolyn (Baldwin) Jones.  Don was a proud Marine Corps Veteran and Ford Motor Company retiree.

On August 7, 1949, he married Eva Louise Hall in Lincoln, Nebraska, and she survives.  Other survivors include two daughters, Deborah (Carey) Strykowski of Zeeland, Carol (Timothy) Carr of Dexter, 6 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 14, 11:00 am at Dexter Gospel Church, with Rev. John O’Dell officiating.  Burial  followed at Bethlehem Cemetery in Ann Arbor.  The family received friends at Cole Funeral Chapel Monday, May 13, from 4-8:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Dexter Gospel Church Building Fund, 2253 Baker Rd  Dexter, MI 48130.
