Age 77, died suddenly Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at her home in Ann Arbor. She was born March 31, 1935 in Howell, the daughter of James “Frank” & Thelma (Hecox) Burke.

Marjorie was a graduate of Ann Arbor High School. She retired as a phlebotomist  after 27 years, from St. Joseph Hospital. Marjorie loved animals, enjoyed playing cards, bowling and was an avid Longaberger Basket collector. She loved to visit with family and friends.  Marjorie was extremely proud of her grandsons, and great granddaughter.

Survivors include two children, Randy (Janet) Rosentreter of Chelsea, and Cindy (Bill) Seets of Clinton; their father Albert Rosentreter of Chelsea; 3 grandsons, Joel (Evelyn) Rosentreter, Kevin Rosentreter, Tim Rosentreter; a great granddaughter, Savanah Rosentreter; her aunt, Lois Hecox; a nephew and several nieces and cousins, along with many friends. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gordon Burke.

A memorial service was held Monday, March 4, 2013, at 11:00am at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, MI  with Pastor Joe Jeffreys officiating.  A private burial will be held at Sanford Cemetery, Cohoctah, Michigan at a later date. The family received friends Sunday from 2-6pm. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
