Bertha M. Clemons, age 87 years, of Wauseon, passed away Monday morning, January 28, 2013, at the University Of Toledo Medical Center. She was born July 15, 1925 at Liberty Center, the daughter of Carl and Helen (Corwin) Kruger.

She married Roy Clemons on August 24, 1946 and he preceded her in death on May 1, 2010. A resident of the Wauseon area since 1999, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed her family, flowers and listening to music. She was a member of the Eagles Point Worship Center in Wauseon, and the Gideons International Auxiliary.

She is survived by six children, Rebecca (Gary) Tuttle of Adrian, MI, Vickie (Ernest) Hinderer of Chelsea, MI, Tonya Short of Grand Ledge, MI, Rev. Charles Clemons of Ypsilanti, MI, Thomas (Patricia) Clemons of Chelsea, MI, and Charity (Keith) Frank of Saline, MI; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Charles Kruger; and two sisters, Betty Snyder, and Lois Newcomer.

Services were held on Friday at 10 AM at Eagles Point Worship Center located at 1075-3 North Shoop Ave. in Wauseon, with Pastors Michael Lulfs assisted by Chuck Clemons officiating. Interment was at 2 PM on Friday at Washtenong Memorial Park in Ann Arbor, MI. Friends were welcomed at Eagles Point Worship Center from 3-7 PM on Thursday. The family suggests that memorials be given to Eagles Point Worship Center.
