of Tipton, MI, formerly of Lake Columbia and Chelsea.  Age 58, passed away peacefully, with family by his side, Friday, September 14, 2012 at University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor. He was born January 24, 1954 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of Alojyz J. & Doris Ilene (Walbrook) Policht.

 

Al attended both Chelsea and Manchester high schools, and earned his bachelors in business from Jackson Community College. He was part owner of “BC Masonary” with a close friend.  Al enjoyed  fixing things and he was very creative. He had a very compassionate heart, and was always helping those around him.

Survivors include his fiancee, Cindy Marshall of Irish Hills; his siblings Harry (Wendi) Policht of Stockbridge, Pam Kitchen of Chelsea; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and many very close, caring friends.

No services were planned.  Memorial contributions may be made to University of Michigan Hospital Neuroscience Center or the charity of your choice.  Arrangements by Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea.
