Age 19, died Saturday, June 25, 2022 in Dexter. Max was born April 23, 2003 in Ann Arbor, the son of Matthew (Toni) Keywell and Sarah (Michael Jeffries) Keywell.
Max graduated from Dexter High School in 2021, where he enjoyed the Debate Club. He attended Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama several times. After graduating, he worked at Cornman Farms. He enjoyed amusement parks, ice skating, family vacations and good food. He was the smartest and the funniest kid. Max loved his ducks, especially Jeffy, chickens, particularly Darby, and dogs, Judy and Moneypenny. He loved fashion and fancy clothes.

Max loved his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Edward and Claudia Keywell, Richard and Jenny Cash, Stephanie and Richard Powell, Ron and Ricia Hughes Jeffries; his siblings, Olivia, Armand and Sage Grayson Keywell, Dezarae and Madalyn Thompson; a niece, Maddison Keywell; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Max was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Marjorie Williams; his great-grandparents, Robert and Louise McNicholas; and his sister Justyce Faith Keywell.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 6 from 5-9 pm at Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea. A private graveside service will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dexter. Memorial contributions may be made to SRSLY Dexter, 7089 Dexter Ann Arbor Rd, Dexter, MI 48130.

I didn’t know Max or His family. But my heart aches for them. Please continue to keep this family in your thoughts and prayers for the days, weeks and months to come. Grieving is a long journey and they will need much support.

I knew Max as an 7th and 8th grade student.
He was smart, hard working, and quiet, though when he shared you knew he had something important to share. It’s a great sorrow that the World will miss out on all Max had to give. Thinking about you with care and

Max was a amazing friend with dam good taste in clothes and just about anything, he meant alot to me he was always supportive of others. He knew alot about random facts. He will be missed dearly.
