Darlene was my mentor when becoming a poll worker. Her knowledge and sense of humor were always appreciated. Thanks Darlene for what you have given me.

I met Darlene viz my friendship with her son, Tom, decades ago at her beloved farm. She was awfully welcoming to me as a guest in the farm house, and treated me like a prince during my stays. Her husband, Lester, Tom's dad, was also a very kind and welcoming host, and I remember having good conversations with both while visiting Tom at the farm. I miss you, Darlene!
