of Pleasant Lake, MI, formerly of Chelsea, age 78, died Sunday, February 27, 2022, at her son's home in Pleasant Lake. She was born October 3, 1943, in Croswell, MI, the daughter of Charles Henry & Thelma Della (Clement) Gentinne.

Carol grew up in Dearborn, and taught Home Economics at Corunna High School. After the death of her husband, Bob, she went back to school to study occupational therapy at Eastern Michigan University while raising four boys. She worked as an occupational therapist at Chelsea Community Hospital for many years before retiring. Carol was a warm person with a friendly smile for everyone. She was a volunteer who put her heart into everything she did. Carol was active in Chelsea MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), organized Red Cross blood drives, taught Sunday school and volunteered at Chelsea First United Methodist Church. Carol loved taking family vacations with her sons and their families, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by four sons, Kevin Brock of Conrad, Texas, Brian (Erin) Brock of Toledo, OH, Steve (Jamie) Brock of Gregory, David (Rebekah) Brock of Pleasant Lake; a sister, Laurie Gentinne of Dearborn; a brother-in-law, Charles Greening of West Bloomfield; 7 grandchildren, Megan, Madison (Michael), Jacob, Victoria (Mark), Timothy, Isabella, Clara; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brock; her parents; her brothers, Tom and Alan Gentinne; and a sister, Julie Greening.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Chelsea First United Methodist Church, with Rev. LeAnn Seto officiating. Burial will be at Acacia Park Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, and 1-2 p.m. at the church on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Chelsea First United Methodist Church, 128 Park St., Chelsea, MI 48118 or the Red Cross.

Prayers go out to all. Carol cared about her patients and fellow co-Workers. She even after retirement was encouraging others in the warm pool at the fitness center!!❤️
